David Letterman.....

It's been a VERY, VERY long time since David Letterman said anything that was either funny or original... Then again its been a while since he said anything, for that matter, that was worth hearing.

Just why the audience on the left is smiling i will never know, maybe i just don't get it. As for that bald "human" with his not so witty trevor marmelade styles humour, well, he too, somehow, slipped through the natural selection netting. If i find out who was supervising the net when baldie, letterman and Ben Lee slipped through, i'll be making an example out of him.

The only thing this guy has ever done that has had any level of value was his post september 11 show:

"In his opening monologue, an uncharacteristically serious and very emotional Letterman struggled with the reality of the attacks and the role of comedy in a post-9/11 world, saying,

"The reason we were attacked, the reason these people are dead, these people are missing and dead ... They weren't doing anything wrong, they were living their lives, they were going to work, they were traveling, they were doing what they normally do. Uh, as I understand it -- and my understanding of this is vague, at best -- another smaller group of people stole some airplanes and crashed them into buildings. And we're told that they were zealots fueled by religious fervor, religious fervor. And if you live to be a thousand years old, will that make any sense to you? Will that make any goddamned sense?"

Aside from that, Letterman, you are no more entertaining than Quiz-mania, Hotdogs up late or big brother uplate, the latter two i have actually smiled while watching, the first sign that laughter could be on its way.

Letterman, after 60 years, you're still not funny, time to climb onto the scrap heap where you belong mate
